Many theories have been introduced when it comes to winning at online roulette. Some recommend playing rows, some columns. Others will have a betting system that covers certain areas of the table with a designated number of chips and others rely on gut feeling or just plain luck. In this article we will look at what I believe to be the safest method of becoming the online roulette champ.
Firstly when it comes to this simple method, it does not matter which table or casino you play in. The only exception to this is that you should avoid the lower denomination tables at some casinos as they will have a double zero in exchange for allowing you to play the lower online roulette bets. The reason this comes into play here is that we are only playing black and red. The only other option on a roulette table besides black and red is zero the dreaded green number. If you play a table with double zero, you now have two green numbers which reduces your odds of winning. Do not play these tables, they are almost cheating you.
So we are playing black and red. For the most part you will be a 50/50 bet. Some punters recommend you should quit after losing ten percent of your kitty. Let us take a closer look at this. If you started with one hundred dollars, this would only allow you the flexibility of losing ten dollars. On the smallest allowable bet at most online roulette tables of five dollars, you may only get to place two online roulette bets if you don’t win early. Boring! For me I would probably stretch that limit out to around twenty percent. So if you had one hundred dollars you may quit after losing twenty dollars and be firm about quitting at this point. My theory is that you are there to gamble and possibly lose. If you cannot afford to do that, you probably should not be playing online roulette to begin with.
Let us get back to the online roulette betting. Bet on black or red and each time you win your pool becomes a little larger. There are two different approaches you can take from here. One is the accumulator. Each time you win, collect your win and continue betting the original amount each time. In doing this you hope to slowly accumulate a small win each time resulting in a larger amount by the end of the online roulette session. This slow and steady method will ensure you do not go bust but it won’t set the world on fire either. The other method is where you always raise the bet according to your winnings. So if you bet five dollars and won, your next bet might be ten dollars and so on. This method will accumulate winnings much faster but you will also lose a lot more should it go against you.
When to quit online roulette.
Finally when is enough, enough? If you are on a winning streak, keep it going. If you have lost a few spins playing black and red, the next win is not far away but do set yourself a limit to play with. Like I said earlier, if you cannot afford to lose it, do not play. If you are not a responsible gambler do not drink alcohol while playing as you might blow next month’s mortgage.
